Decoupaged Eggs
If you are looking for a quick and easy DIY decoration for spring, these eggs are almost foolproof. All you need is some scrap fabric, some empty plastic easter eggs (or foam eggs that have been sanded smooth), and some Mod Podge.
Materials:
Fabric Scraps, enough to cover each egg once over
Mod Podge
Plastic Eggs
Directions:
There are any number of ways to do this. The picture up above cut the fabric in strips, but you could just as easily cut out designs or cut the fabric in small squares for a more patchwork appearance.
Coat the underside of each piece of the fabric (at least) in Mod Podge, whether by draging it through, painting it, or any other method you prefer.
Layer the pieces of fabric so that all surfaces of the egg are covered. If using strips, layer them lengthwise, working around in a circle until all is covered. Then if desired, place a small circle of fabric on either end to hide the overlapping ends. If designs or small squares were used, overlap so that all go smoothly over the egg. When you get to the tip, place the fabric over it and snip once on either side so that they can be folded over one another.
If desired, you may deside to add ribbons or other decorations
