Title: House with a Clock in its Walls

What's It About: This is the book that the movie was, in theory, based on. Don't be fooled. When books are made into movies, they rarely stay completely the same. When a book is about mystery and magic and growing up, plenty more changes. Join ten-year-old Lewis as he discovers the strange secrets of his uncle's house with its ticking walls.

After all, there is mystery, magic, bullies, tomboys, talismans, strange and possibly otherworldly postcards arriving in the dead of night, and a chance at revenge so sweet it might seem a bit... supernatural. Lewis is at it again and this time he might have bitten off more than he can chew.
