What's Happening at Brown Deer Library...

We know the construction is a pain but we still hope to see you!

We have a lot of fun programs planned for this summer. We hope to see you soon!

May 23

Cookbook Club & Potluck, 5-6pm

So long as COVID numbers remain low, we can meet in person for a themed potluck. Every month we will still provide a spice/seasoning and recipe (or two). Kits are available up at the circulation desk. Everything inside is yours to keep. Just return the container within 7 days. MayTurmeric – Creamy Pakora Soup – Potluck on May 23rd (Bring a dish inspired by another culture)

May 25

Scrabble Club - 12pm

One Wednesday a month come join us to play Scrabble! We’ll provide the Scrabble board. You provide the words!

May 27

Streaming Book club - 12-1pm

You know those Netflix and Prime and Hulu and whatever shows that keep popping up as “Based on” this series or that? Now is your time to actually read what inspired these series. Grab your channel changer and flip to a good book. For May we will be reading The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart. So grab your bag lunch and join us for some fun, gossipy book discussions on the new TV series. We might even watch part of an episode!

Summer Reading Kick-off! 1-5pm

It's here, it's happening, it's time for summer reading! Join us for activities, crafts, a bake sale and silent auction and of course get signed up for the 2022 summer reading program. There are "oceans of possibilities" waiting at the library for you!
