October 17
Who Killed the Wicked Witch? 5-6:30pm
Someone killed the wicked witch and all of your favorite story and fairytale characters are suspects. Join us to either discover the culprit or see if you can get away with this heinous act! (Think Gregory Maguire or the show Once Upon a Time). Register ahead of time to receive your character and more information. Refreshments and additional activities provided.
Teen Bookclub, 5-6
Teen book club continues! We’ll be reading a book, then meeting one Tuesday a month to discuss it. Make sure to pick your book up before the day of the club. They will be available behind the front desk. Just ask! This month's title is Last Night at the Telegraph Club, by Malinda Lo.
October 18
Art Cart
Stop in the library and pick up an Art Cart bag for this popular grab-and-go program. Inside will be a variety of art supplies and at least one project idea. Bring the bag home and make something awesome! Available while supplies last.
Preschool Storytime, 10:30-11am
Join us this week while we explore the city and the country without even leaving the library! Space is limited, and registration is required. You can register by calling our Reference Desk at 414-357-0106.
October 19th, 5:30-6:30pm
Fall Book Club will be available both through Zoom and in person. Registration before the event is required. Links will be provided on our blog or at checkout. All books chosen have digital access via OverDrive/Libby as well as physical from the library. This month's title is The Thing About December, by Donal Ryan
October 20
Teen Advisory Board, 5-6pm
Need volunteer hours or just looking for a way to help the community? Join our Teen Advisory Board! We will meet one Thursday a month to discuss what’s happening in the library and plan upcoming programs. You will also have the ability to gain more volunteer hours by helping out at programs, mentoring, or assisting computer users.
October 22
Family Flicks, 11-1pm
Looking for something fun to do? Come to the library to watch a movie! The movie will start at 11am in the children's programming room. All titles are newer and family friendly!
